With her over 25 years of experience, Marilyn has had much training and experience helping adolescents and children over 10 years old. She specializes in difficulties with depression, attention deficit disorder, with hyperactivity, poor academic performance, low self esteem, behavioral problems, poor social skills and problems associated with blended families and/or divorce. Marilyn teaches parents how to survive those challenging teen years.

Marilyn has created a SAT/ACT Advancement program. This program has helped many teenagers get accepted and receive scholarships to prestigious schools, including Harvard and Stanford Universities. She has created this program based on her many years of studying peak performance in individuals. She also uses techniques she learned from Jack Canfield, Chicken Soup for the Soul, which have been shown to be extremely effective helping teenagers achieve their goals. This innovative SAT/ACT program gives students the added psychological edge by improving their study habits and their test taking skills. This program boosts the student’s confidence, attention span, focus, and discipline. It teaches students to visualize their goals so that they will be more likely to obtain their desired scores on their SAT/ACT test.
